Turks and Palms

I took this image on the first day of vacation with my wife from the beach on an island of Turks and Caicos.  We sat there on the white sand under the shade of the palms eating our breakfast and looking out into the teal galaxy, because that’s what it was, another world.  In this moment we were in such marvelous serenity that it felt as if we couldn’t possibly be in the same universe in which the stresses of life existed.  Peering out from between the palm leaves, looking out upon the endless perfection of water I found such a peace, and now whenever I stare into this image I feel that same same weight of the world seem to slip away.  I love this piece because to me it holds the kind of rejuvenation my soul can rest into.   Turks PalmTurks PalmJackson Finn Art: Turks Palm
